So i am trying to get into lotr sbg(or maybe wotr) and get an army, right now i think i will do a galadhrim elf army with haldir as my leader, because i love the two towers movie, mainly the defence of helms deep with haldirs elves and the soldiers of rohan(Mostley the elves), also a friend of mine who plays rohan, has been wanting people to play in a defence of helms deep reenactment, and he has a large force of uruk hai for that, and a smaller force of rohan guys for his main army, i also have a small army of uruk hai so if we got the other people who play uruk hai in our area and the other galadhrim elf and rohan players(i think there is another rohan player, i think i will be the only player of elves, but that is cooler because in the movie they have a small elite force of elves) we could do a very epic reenactment
So i would do an army based around shooting with still some close combat to keep them from killing my archers and i was just wondering what i needed and if this is a good army(even if theis isnt a good army i will still probably play them because they are my favorite)

Is there anything else anybody can think of that i need?

I think you could use some more captains, more warriors and maybe some guards of the galadrihim court. I heard a lot of good from these guys

Yeah i am planning on getting that stuff, but i am a little low on money right now so i just meant to start and learn how to play with this force

If you are just starting out, I recommend playing a game with your haldir and warriors. After that you should get some more warriors first, and then some more heroes. Elites are the last thing to worry about. Everything that you need rules-wise, is in the big book so you should be just fine.

BTW, the rules fr the galadhrim are on the games workshop website under wd (you need to log on to view it) There is also a version of Haldir, something like Haldir defender of helm's deep. I can't remember the details but he has some special rules and he would have a better theme in your army
