Hee hee, I remember seeing that at the GW in Springfield! It will certainly be a big fish in the pond, although the table we will be playing on will actually put the 144" range of the main gun to the test .

As long as no one has 40 wraith guard coming in from the rear line I should be OK!

What's the best way to get there--drive (don't know how easy parking is), Metro, bus? I live in Arlington and don't currently have plans.

What's sadder is years ago my first super heavy, a Nurgle Plague Tower was killed one turn 1 by Fire Dragons.

It's in a strip mall, parking is fine. Closest metro is Springfield but it's a few miles beyond taht and I've no idea how the buses are but based on Metro's typical weekend service my guess is 'not good'.

Yeah, the buses are not ideal at weekends--some of the services are good in the daytime, but at night the most reliable bus service I have found is the Circulator (so when out in DC at night on the weekend I tend to use some combination of Circulator/Metro, walking, and/or taxi to get home). The Metro itself works well enough.

Perhaps I will come down and watch, am only ~2 editions behind with the rules. Does not look too far to drive.

Well, if you would like the organizer and I plan on haveing some 500 pt lists ready for people just like yourself, so you can at least jump in and roll a few dice if you make the trip! The drive shouldn't be too bad; just straight down 395 to 95 S, then take the Newington Exit.
