i take scorpions- mainly because i prefer the models- i know what a way to pick an army, but they also have a better armour save and off the top of my head think they are cheaper popints wise. but other fellow eldar players i know swear by banshees. power weapons no arour saves- cant deny that.

Wrong forum dude.
Depends on your enemy: against Guard, with gakky armor saves and lots of ap 4 weapons, Banshees loose a lot of flavour.
However Scorpions will struggle with anything clad in Power Armour.
Their Mandiblasters and Str 4 swords do not equal out the capabilites of Power weapons, at least in my view.

My opinion is
Scorpions for 5+ or worse save
Banshees for 3+ or better
Either for 4+ saves.

If your fighting tough guys id go with banshees power weapons are amazing, but if your going up against swarms mostly you defiantly need scorpions.

Depends on your most common enemies. Banshees more efective against SM but scorpions against orks
