So, I'm prayfordeath47. I'm new to dakka, of course. I have a very large tau army and I am now working on a new IG mars regiment. That's pretty much all.

Yes, I'm sticking with a red and black color scheme. I also flocked the bases and painted them red to look like mars rocks.

It depends on the area. Its generally a stoney grey. Like Earth rocks are.

See, the reason people think it is red is because through a telescope it looks red. Because of this, everyone thinks its red. The sky on Mars is blue and the ground is grey. Nasa photoshopped the pictures to make it red so it looked how people thought it would.
Its all very complicated.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing your Mars regiment. I assume they have a lot of tech and bionics seeing as theyre from the homeworld of the Ad-Mech?

The techpriests will be VERY technical but the regular guardsmen I think will be metiocre in terms of mechanicalness.
