Hello all let's start a thread discussing tactics for Dust.

My first question is about the "Hot Dog", the Axis player always goes after this guy with a zeal. I usually can get the Hot Dog to kill one maybe two units if I am very cautious but otherwise it is the first to go unless I gear up to defend this nasty little battlefield weapon.

Your thoughts?

Don't take the Hot Dog, use a Mickey instead. Hot Dogs suck.

yeah like those little teeny minced onions that aren't real onions that you get on a Mcdonalds cheeseburger. And the cheese has to be melty, like cheese whiz

I love my Hot Dogs, sure they become top target, but they can do some good damage.

If you want something to soak up fire that the Germans dare not ignore, take a Hot Dog, esp. in larger games. The one-shot one kill against vehicles is pretty sick when it works. sure others point for point may be superior, but with it's rather intense anti-infantry guns as well I don't see need for the disdain. For some friends, it is their favorite fear inducing unit, granting them board control depending on where she goes.
