thanks I painted over the bleu of the necron with Gloss Varnish so it looks more exotic and alien material.

That cake is full of win, brother  I also really like your Necron scheme. Reminds me of the gemstone lapis lazuli, which is a deep mottled blue with gold flecks. It was used quite a bit by ancient cultures in their jewelry, so it really fits that Necron vibe perfectly.

Nice paint scheme...although I'm not sure if Necrons name their armies at all. I find Necron fluff very interesting, and love their appearance and feel...but I hate how boring they are in that they are all the same...

My girlfriend had chosen this colours above the metal necrons because she likes Egypt. Lapis lazuli was used by Cleopatra as eyeshadow andin the death mask of Tutankhamun. This was coincidence. But more coincidence: lapis lazuli is a common sight in the jewels of the TV series and books: The Vampire Diaries (and with other vampire myths and stories).My girlfriend's favorite series and books because she really likes vampires. Her nickname is even My Little Vampire. My brother tells me coincidence doesn'y exist but now I'm seriously in doubt. It all leads to my girlfriend just when I mis her because she's on vacation.
