Ello.

So after getting in to 40k like being pushed off the edge of the pool, I found this site.

I "play" Imperial Guard, beyond that and a few troops and a Russ you know how I play better then I do. I am truly new to 40k, not having anything fully painted yet and but a basic understanding on how the game works.

So my buddy got me into the game, with his brother and friends, friends and friends of friends into 40k I thought what the heck. Already into the hobby of scale military model building the idea of building and painting a small army wasn't too daunting.

So the plan, get the basics models I know I'll need, get them ready for the tabletop and learn the game (reading & watching games) in the meantime. Due to the cost and time involved me and my buddy will both be Imperial Guard, pooling our figures until we both have enough for a 1500 point game and when needed still pooling for larger games (scheduling conflicts make this easy).

I picked Imperial Guard because of the background lore, and he picked it because it has a lot of guns.

And so, here I am.
