I'm thinking late war and starting off at about 2000 points for the good old USA. If you have any suggestions for army lists I'd appreciate you leaving one below

I've been looking at the US 2nd Infantry Division "Indianhead" and they seem a good list to use. Also the Flames of War American Rifle Company Box Set comes with all you need to make the core of your army, so it's a nice way to go. Here are the links:

I'm going to be making a list of these after i finish my Late War Germans :p

The Crusaders-3600 points
Bor'Kan Sept-2500
Tyranids-1700 points
Imperial Guard Molov 67th Armoured Division- 2500 points

The US army does one thing really well in Flames of War when running an infantry list, and that would be artillery

I'd start with a couple (or three) basic infantry platoons and then load up on arty. 1-2 batteries of 105s, a battery of 155s, an AOP and then fill in the rest with what you want.

Some tanks wouldn't hurt but be warned US armour in late war is really fragile.

Picking up the book 'Turning Tide' should be your first port of call regardless of what you do. 'Fortress Europe' would also work if money is tighter.

Thanks both of you i'll check out that book and i already have gotten some arty and an AOP as i am sorta a history nerd and knew beforehand how effective the US arty can be

I'll take everything into consideration, now just gotta pick a book
