sadly my airfield/ field command diorama is progressing very slowly as of late. I did paint the first guy that will be used in it though.
I have to say I really enjoyed painting this mean old man. Even though the model itself was not the best cast I've ever seen I'm happy with the results. This is also the first time I tried to use the blending technique; on the cloak to be more exact. It's still a bit crude, but turned out better than I expected.

I love that model. It has so much character! And your paintjob is very nice. The highlights on the coat are really good.

My only comment would be his skin seams very pale (it could just be the photo) aside from that great paint job, the colour scheme works well.

I need to pick up this model to join my IG army. I do like to have a full WYSIWYG and my commander has a plasma pistol. but I may still pick this up as a show piece.
