Hi all,

Thought I would post some pics of my latest sergeant. Just a little unconventional.

Sorry the photo's aren't great but hopefully they are good enough to see ok.

Any C&C always welcome.

I like the weird #EDIT# buckler #EDIT# and the blue looks very vibrant. Something about the pose doesn't scream awesome though, cant quite explain it i'm afraid.

I think a good pose would be looking down the blade, but it looks good.

This is really great. I like the crisp colors, and the (is that Deathwatch?) shoulder pad is a lovely touch. The metallic colors are smooth, and all the colors pop nicely. Spectacular work.

Thanks guys,

The 'Buckler' was an idea from a drawing I saw on Deviant-Art. I am afraid I cant remember the name of the artist, I wish I could.

The pose is supposed to be him looking at his squad and pointing with his sword. I imagine he is shouting inside his helmet like any good sergeant should be.

Oh and yeah thats a Deathwatch pad.

It's great! Nice model, not too much "stuff" on him, cool pose, lovely crisp paint job.

Well done!

Very interesting blue - almost looks like the figure is glowing. I'm rather lukewarm on the shoulder pad extension (there seems to be some confusion in terminology, here - whatever that is, it is not a buckler), though. I know practicality and realism are pretty much never at the forefront with 40k, but it's a bit too impractical for my tastes, especially on the sword arm. Otherwise, it's a lovely figure.
