I had always thought a computerised version of say Inquisitor or necromunda would be awesome, well Frozen Synapse may be the game to finally exploit this. It has been described as a 'turn based counterstrike' and has netted a rave 9/10 review from edge magazine (the most respected, at least by game developers/producers, magazine of them all). I am interested in getting it or at least the beta version that is available.
Have any dakkanauts got it yet? It is probabaly the next big pc game after minecraft so i would be surprised if you havent at least heard of it. I am not the best strategy gamer but really want to give this one a shot.

Bought it, It is INCREDIBLY difficult, for me at least never was good at strategy games lol. Though the gameplay is superb, i will definitely persevere.
The story is FANTASTIC, probably the best since portal.
Buy it!
Buy it while it's still hip and underground, this game EDIT:deserves to go minecraft.

I've heard a little bit about the game and am curious about it. I love turned based stuff.

The only issue is it is quite pricey, though for the price you get a free copy for a friend  . If steam put it on sale or something....

You get a free download of the soundtrack with the game and i agree, the soundtrack is great.

Just saw a video on Steam's website. Reminds me of the setup screens in the original Rainbow Six. I'm totally in.
