A while back my better half allowed a child into the house, who spotted my collection and demanded toys to play with.

Fortunately I keep the good stuff hidden/ out of reach, but the brat got his hands on some trucks and tanks , the cheap "army men" types, available from Toy Soldiers Depot in the US for next to nothing. As brats do, he broke them.

Here, then, is something you can build using broken toys, a bit of plumbing offcuts and some spare flamer nozzles:
