Alright so here goes, i figure i'll start with Storm Trooper Squad Razor's initial entering to the story for the first post...
The camp was alive with activity, guardsmen running in every which direction trying to accomplish the orders given to them by their superiors, while servitors slaved over chimeria's and leman russ's preparing them for their next missions. Sergeants and captains stood out amongst their soldiers shouting orders, while commisars paced around the work being done, keeping the iron will of His men strong with their unforgiving stare. Arvus Lighters went to and from the fleet in atmosphere to the camps spread across the planet, unloading weapons, ammo, food, and every other battlefield necessity that the Emperor's armies could need. Vulture gunship squads tore across the skies towards new objectives, each one against their pilot's better wishes outfitted to take on a small army; most soon to findout just how necessary the extreme loadouts were.
Two Valkyrie drop ships cleared the horizon, speeding towards the forward command camp. Each one was painted jet black, omniously threatening sights when they were tearing through the sky towards you.
"Sixty-seconds to touch down sergeant." came the pilot's voice over the vox network.
The fuselage was lit by a red light giving, each of the five occupants sitting contently looking out of the small view ports at the trees racing away below them. Each one of them served together from training, fighting through seven different campaigns, taking on hundreds of covert operations. Veterans against the orks, eldar, and the archenemy chaos warriors, they were the elites of the elite.
"Ten seconds."
The five operatives stood up and grabbed a hold of the brace bars while Tarmecc opened the side hatch of the Valkyrie. As soon as the ship touched down his foot was on the ground and his squad was moving towards the command tent. Guardsmen, captains, sergeants, even commisars, paused what they were doing for a moment to watch the elite warrios walk past them. Hot-shot las rifles slung across their chests, the same jet black carapace armor as the color of their drop ships, each one's face an unreadable mask of sheer proffesionalism. Two groups of them strode across the camp, ten in all, with enough firepower to probably take over the camp bythemselves.
Sergeant Tarmecc ducked his head through into the command tent and walked over to the strategium table surrounded by colonels, majors, and the general. One of the generals looked up at the new comer, his hair a ruffled mess from running his hand through it during what seemed to be a heated discussion on tactics.
"Sergeant," he said, "its good to see we now atleast have one other person at this camp that knows something having to do with tactics." he shot a glare around the table at each of the officers surrounding him, each one shying aware from the challenge he laid out before them to stare back.
"General Paurmul, its a honor to once again serve under you on yet another field of war." Tarmecc replied standing at parade rest infront of the assembled officers.
The general smiled and put his hand on the sergeants shoulder, "Come, let's discuss your mission." he gestured towards the open flap towards a back room in tent, "Away from these imbeciles!"
They walked into the back room, only furnished by a tesk directily in the middle with a bed in the far corner. The general sat at the chair behind the desk, Tarmecc halted before the chair in front of the desk and went back to parade rest, his gave fixed on the wall in front of him.
General Paurmul looked at him and grinned, "Come now Sergeant, sit, sit."
Tarmecc also grinned, "It's fine, sir, you know how i am."
"That i do Tarmecc, that i do. So professional with you bunch. Well, lets discuss what you came here to do." he stood up and pointed to the map spread out across his desk, "This is Uruax, the capital city of this forsaken planet. It was once held home to millions of imperial citizens before the Orks began their war here and ransacked it. Now they control the entire city along with plenty of other vital spots on the planet. The PDF were overtaken within hours, completely slaughtered. The citizens fled, the ones that could survive the intial butchering went into hiding. The greenskins have a perimeter with outposts here, here, and here." he pointed at each of the three outposts and then pointed to a spot in the middle of the slums of the city, "You will insert here by Valkyrie, then head to your first objective here. We believe one of the Warbosses lieutenant's operates out of here. He is one of those "Weirdboys", so the greenskins call them. He's bound to have all sorts of aberations and mad experients all around him so be prepared for what you might see."
Tarmecc laughed, "Cant be worse then anything i've already seen thoughout our last campaign together."
"After he is dead you will proceed to this building here where you will link with Squad Ripper after they elimate their target, from there you will push deeper into the city towards their headquarters. Your main objective is to kill thier Warboss, cut the head right off this war of theirs. Now i have to warn you sergeant, this Warboss is like none other we've encountered. If intel is correct, he is bigger then any other we've ever fought, and he travels with a pack of those armored giant warriors that seem to lead most of their grunt warriors. I've been advised that this is beyond a suicide mission for anyone other then the space marines, however, i then advised my advisors, that they have never met you and your team."
Tarmecc nodded his head to the general, "I will not let you down, sir."
The general straightened to his full height, "I dont, and never will, doubt you Sergeant."
Tarmecc snapped to attention and shot up a lightning quick salute. Paurmul returned it and watched as the sergeant spun on his heel and strode of the tent. He slumped back down onto his chair and rested his forehead in the palm of his hand. Behind him from the shadows of the corners of the room, two figures materilized like they were stepping out of tears in reality, "Are you sure of this ones abilities." said the first of the two figures.
"If you could see some of the things that man and his squad has down, i doubt even you would doubt his abilities." the general replied.
"I hope you are correct, general, for if your not this planets fate could be lost." the first figure said again.
Each one was easily three meters in height, like titans among men both were clade in power armor, one colored black as night, the other a blue-ish grey. The one in black stepped closer to the desk and looked down on the map, "We do not have enough warriors accompanying us to wage war with the orks if you fail general."
"I wont fail." he replied staring at the battle lines, perimeters, outposts, and friendly camps on the map.
"In the name of the Allfather you had best hope you dont." put in the second figure.
