These are the first two tanks I have painted. The Rhino was painted about a month ago, it was painted by brush except for the back base coat. Last week I got an airbrush and had a go at painting the Razorback. I only used the airbrush the to do the white/black areas, the detailing and majority of the weathering has been done by brush.

I love the airbrush it took a bit of getting use to but it makes painting the white much easier. The Razorback took about half the time of the rhino.

The Razorback is magnetized to I can swap out the weapons.

maybe it is the lighting, but it appears that mud didn't actually make it all the way into the cracks on the armor plating. You might want to go back with a brush and put some in.

The overall effect is excellent!

The dirt looks a little too static, like there was a line it just couldn't cross. In my experience off-roading through the mud, vehicles will throw random drops just about everywhere. Other than that, the models look good. I really like the blue accents on the lights.

Thanks for the comments guys. I see the area you are talking wanax i'll go back over that area later and touch it up. The method I use to add the mud effect is just really quick and easy. It only takes a few minutes to do. I will see if I can make it look more natural on the next 4 I have started to paint up (4 preds).

This looks very nice. I am not familiar with the symbol on the side, but the tanks (and the weathering) look nice.

Thanks Jimsolo. It's a black cat. My marines are called the black cats due to their unfortunate luck (or my exceptionally bad dice rolling)

Update pic of the 4 preds.
