Hi, I was wondering If there are any gaming communities for Warhammer 40k in Gainesville Florida and if there are please tell me where to look. Thanks in advance.

This would be a good place to start:

The game shop I've been to there is rather nice with a good crowd. Its website is:

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

You sir are amazing! Thank you again for the information. I'll be sure to check this place out in person. Also, wondering if you yourself actually go to this place as well?

I mean do you play 40k tournaments there?

There used to be a group that met up near the mall in a game/comic store next to i75/university. There was another game store down on 13th but it closed in 2003ish. Lastly I think a new one opened up on university/34th st.

Hope that's helpful.

I've played in one, and it was good. There's another one this weekend (1850), but I can't make it due to work commitments.

The Dakka poster Ryan3740 is quite active there; send him a PM for better information than I have.

The old MegaComics (which was purchased and is not Mega Gaming and Comics) and the Traveling Mage on 13th. Man, it's been a while.
