Painted up a Chaos Vindicator for my Iron Warriors over the past few days, check it out:

I like it, but one question: why does that piece of paper say welp on it?

It's because I was going to paint it up for a painting competition on SomethingAwful, but because I forgot a WIP picture I'm not getting full points.

I like the vindicator, very well painted model overall, my one problem is that I like to see a lot more high lights on models with "hard surfaces" but thats about it. otherwise, its really good

Nope, just good old fashioned drybrushing with Graveyard Earth then Kommando Khaki.

I like the massive hazard symbols. I have an iron warrior army, but I really stink at making them. I'd consider doing it somewhere else on the model to really tie it in as well. Minus the shield, though, the model looks kinda bland. You may have been going for that look.

Siege shield gives the opponent the right amount of warning. ^^

The pure Boltgun Metal is what the Iron Warriors do, and I'll admit that it lends itself to some pretty bland vehicles when you only weather them as much as I do. If I wanted to do more work I'd get Mithril Silver and do some edge highlighting; I'm just in the middle of a huge Marine commission right now and edge highlighting vehicles just isn't something I want to keep doing!

The hazard stripes were done with masking tape, two layers of Iyanden Darksun, and a stupid number of layers of Sunburst Yellow. It's harder to do on infantry models, but vehicles lend themselves well to it.

Dirty...i like them.

Chaos vehicles should not look like they rolled off of a assembley line and yours does not. Kudos sir
