Ladies and gentlemen, I'm pleased to be joining you as a newcomer to the world of modeling, wargames, and specifically, 40k and the like.

I was introduced to both this forum and the game of 40k by my dear friend, Will, whom I'm not sure is actually a member here. Huh.

Starting out last year, I invested in a AoBR kit with my other friend, he took orks, I took SM. Through that initial purchase, an addiction was born. I started a significant SM force, amounting to about 3,500 points. Painted up as a bastardized Salamanders force, I got bored fast.

Forwarding to this summer, I started a Dark Eldar force on a dare from Will. Hoooo-leeeee [abstract] son. Talk about different. They're about as far from Salamanders I could probably have imagined. But fun. Very fun.

I love the community built here; I have lurked for quite some time before pulling the trigger on an actual account. I look forward to contributing and becoming a part of the community!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
