Space Marine Scout with Sniper Rifle

So, I recently (Past 5 months) got into W40k, mainly due to my younger brother taking up Chaos Space Marines and wanting an opponent to play against. I found myself choosing Space Marines, as it seems many new players do. I'm not sure what attracted me, or why I decided to go for a homebrew legion rather than one of the longstanding Fluff legions.

Just to note, My painting skills are average at best, so constructive criticism is welcome.

But anyway, I digress. I intend to throw on pictures and information about this project as I go, mainly going over my current army and the troops I'm adding in. Expect a lot of *old* miniatures.

Spoiler:

My first Terminator squad, as some may be able to tell. This is made up solely of the 1st Edition Space Hulk terminators, with the only conversion being the banner on the lead terminator

Spoiler:

Terminator squad #2 - AOBR miniatures. Not sure what I thought of them, but they were fairly easy to work with.

Spoiler:

HQ#1, Also known as the Space Hulk Librarian. Not quite figured out a decent power weapon method yet, so it's quite mediocre.

Spoiler:

Tactical Squad #1

Spoiler:

A few Vanguard vets, pending me finding a few spare arms and Boltpistols.

Spoiler:

AOBR Dreadnought, probably my favourite piece of the set.

Spoiler:

The start of a Devestator squad, including an older all metal Lascannon.

Spoiler:

My Techmarine and Chaplain, Techmarine could do with a little touch-up of the head.

Spoiler:

The man who is to become Tactical Squad #2's Sergeant

Spoiler:

And finally, a lucky find on the floor of my girlfriends Garage

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Next up in my working schedule is to paint up and assemble another 4-5 Tactical marines, including a Plasma gunner.
Hope you'll enjoy watching things come together
Innocence proves nothing.
That is a lot of old minis! Well the paint you put on looks a bit think, perhaps thinning it would help?
