Hey all

Thought I'd post this here, it's a statue I sculpted at Uni of Rogue Trooper from 200AD comic. it was an epic 12 day sculpt working from 8:30 am until at least midnight followed by 2 all nighters in a row (about 60 hours by the time I slept). The gun and helmet are SLA 3D printed (back in 08 when that stuff was expensive, the sculpt was done over a rough printed 3D core with no detail whatsoever when I realised I couldn't afford to get the whole thing printed professionally. I had a Zbrush model I smoothed down quickly for the core which threw the anatomy off slightly, but overall I was mostly happy with it at the time.

After the 2 all nighters in a row, I finished it an hour before my crit and promptly passed out

Ed's got a couple of cool bits he'll be posting later, stay tuned.

Harry

The trooper itself is absolutely great!! But the gun... well, not the gun itself, but the way that the trooper holds it is a little bit weird IMHO
added: oh, I probably figured out what's wrong with it - the rifle bull is a bit too large

The blue skin looks incredible. Not to mention eveything else. I love the idea, and the base looks really cool. Nice job.
