I have been playing and painting Warhammer 40k for years now and have just started a Fantasy Bretonians army and thought that I might also start a painting project log and see what others think of my painting. And hopefully I can even get some advice and ideas on how to improve my painting!! I have Black Templars and Tau for 40K, and the Bretonians for fantasy that I will be posting on here. I also have a tendancy to buy units that I wont necessarily play with but that look cool and fun to paint.

For starters I have a unit of Blood Angels Sanguinary Guard that I picked up. Sorry about the quality of the pics but I had to use my wifes iphone.

Actually, no, it's not. Good solid coverage, nice detail on the power weapons. Gold could use a brighter highlight, though, and you didn't drybrush the entire surface on the bases
