They look very good for some one who has taken a break.
Skin looks weird but I suck at it so I shouldnt talk maybe a touch of chestnut ink. and same for writing on books and seals. but otherwise like the models and bases.

Your metallics are great, and that tends to be an area people have a lot of problems with. I notice that, like me, you tend to prefer flat colors. (Most notably on the faces, the light brown on the pouch the HQ guy is wearing, and the red areas of the guns.) I find that a real simple wash or a little bit of drybrushing can help give those a more natural appearance. It isn't so much a problem, it's just that it's kind of jarring when compared to the nice metallic work on the armor. Good job all around though!

Like Ghostemaker said. Not to shabby for a 6 year break. I would however put the picture in MSPaint and resize them to 500 pixels. That will sharpen them and make them easier to see. You always want to Take the picture at the largest size possible then downsize it.
Painting wise... I would start doing your seals and scrolls in Deneb Stone then a medium wash of Devlan Magic
That should help quite a bit
Do bones in Skull White then was in Devlan magic also
Welcome back!

Thanks for the replies guys!
Ill try the scrolls and so on in Deneb Stone with a Devlan wash and see how I can get them Dorantana ! As for the faces ghostmaker, well I hate them with a passion, I can never get them right and tend to settle with what they turn out as unfortunately!
Thanks Jimsolo, Im finding the metalics easier to work with rather than the ordinary paints, I would have to be complicated !

Also a simple fixe that will make the face look a million times better is Ogryn Flesh Wash or Delvan Mud just be sure to thin out the Delvan before you put it on. I would say about 1:1 with water\
The books also could be done in Deneb Stone with a wash

I'd just like to say that drilling out the storm bolter barrels tends to look better than painting. If you're careful, you can do it by hand reasonably easily.
