Here's a Vanguard that I painted up for a Khador force. Rather than match the color scheme, my client wanted this mini to look like its original paint was completely gone. So, here we have a mini covered in verdigris.

So, here he is:

You see that one guy in the shady glasses, driving the shady van? I'm across the street from him.

Damn mate, that's some excellent work right there!

Before you go criticizing someone you hate, walk a mile in his shoes. Then you're a mile away, and you have his shoes!

I expected some vanguard veterans. But it was a pleasure to watch this guy, though.

Very nice. I like the Destroyer head on it, really fits.

I'd apologize, but way too many minis have the same names. I've painted a Lilith from Games Workshop, Privateer Press and Wyrd.

Like the beaten up look you've got going. You really went out of your way to make your client happy.

Dang, I need to do a whole write up on this one, don't I.

I don't have time right now to write out the whole process, but basically I painted up a brassy gold with some washing in verdegris colors (I thinned down paints for this).
