Hi guy. I think you should improve the profiles a bit. I think it should have a better format like social websites such as twitter, face book, or my space. It will look better to socialize in and to see more recent posts your friends posted.

No. Not a facebook platform based profiles I hate those for a good reason.

Why would we want Dakka to be more like facebook? Guess we could always add a status update so all our friends can llook at our profile pages and know what we had for breakfast or what we did 5minutes ago then again in another 5minutes. Or .... maybe just add your friends to facebook instead who are already setup for this kind of thing

The profile page is very functional and does whats needed for a site of this nature. I honestly don't think it needs to be improved upon.

Let's be perfectly honest though, some of that gak we really don't need. Although, touchè, it would be cool to choose what stuff it shows under your avatar. Because just "joined" and "Location"... I'm thinking potential here...
