Hello all, I am going to be playing in an Ecalation league starting March 1st, and am a relatively new 40k player and I would like any advice you can give me for making a new army. . .

I currently own a Make Your Own Chapter Space Marine Army and I happen to like a nice fast army, my only exception to this is I love the power of Dreadnaughts, great models and great mobile firebases. . .

(I usually play with Heed the Wisdom of the Ancients, and Be Swift as the Wind)

My current ideas are an Ork army, or an Eldar Army however I believe both would have issues with the very large amount of heavy bolters and assault cannons I see in my area?

(I didn't see one army fielded in our last tournament that didn't have at least 8 of one of the two types and most had 10, except a Gene Stealer heavy tyranid army, and an Altaioc eldar army. . . )

However I am willing to listen to any reccomendations except Tau, because the new codex won't be out till after the tournament has started. . .

Don't get much faster than Dark Eldar, and you would definitely be fielding something not seen too often as well. From what I hear they are a tough army to use, but can be extremely powerful if done right.

I hate making signatures:
Mainly because my sense of humor is as bad as my skill at this game.
