If you mean new models, then yes, fairly regularly. About 2 every 3 months I would guess.

If you mean new stat lines then I would expect that there'll be some soonish - there's a new campaign book due by end of year and while it's only going to have a few new models in it, I'm sure there'll be something for Aleph. Particularly as they're currently the smallest faction.

The next full expansion is due some time next year,

The last two Aleph releases were a Spitfire armed Asura and the HMG Garuda (heavy remote soldier with AD).

Unlike other manufacturers, they at least TRY to keep all of the lines updated in one go.

Oh, see when I recently looked at the model lines I wasn't aware of what was new and old so they are all old to me lol.

On another note. Can someone guide me to the exact files on the site to download. I would like to learn about the rules and stats for the units and weapons but I am thoroughly confused with the multitude of downloads.

Nevermind actually I figured it out. I have a new question though. I was just reading the rules on how to hit someone with BS. When you roll the D20, do you hit by rolling the model's BS or under? If so, wouldn't that mean a lot of models have only about a 50% chance of hitting as most of the stats are only around 12-13?

Correct to hit someone with an Attack: BS you have to roll equal to or under your BS. There are modifiers for each weapon when you are in it's optimal range and a roll of the exact number you need is a critical, no save allowed. You get as many shots as you have Burst of the weapon in the active phase and 1 shot (special rules to change this) in the reactive phase. In infinity, if you aren't a heavily armor guy then one landed hit is usually all it takes.

While the stat differences look rather mild across all models, face to face rolls means the difference changes exponentially, so the stats can be rather deceptive. 90% of the game is about how you use their weapon, special gear, or abilities and manuever them effectively to swing the modifiers in your favor.

There is a sniper standing on the roof with BS 12 and a Mutli-Sniper rifle, if you move out in the open a long way out you are toast because with your basic combi rifle he is at a +3 BS and you will be a -6 on your BS 11. A FtF of 1 shot at BS 15 vs your 3 shots at BS 5 will mean almost certain death to you. However if you carefully move up the board to get under 8" while you are hugging cover you turn the tables in your favor since a sniper rifle is a 0 modifer at close range while the combi is a +3, plus you are in cover so he has another -3 to his hit. Suddenly with some tactics it is his 1 shot BS 9 vs your 3 shots BS 14.

About miniature releases.
CB updates every month with 4-5 new products. Products mean a single model or a box with 6. I remember month with 11 new miniatures. And because you usually don´t know what are they going to release it`s actually really fun.
They spend almost the whole year of 2010 releasing ALEPH miniatures every month, making the range of the new faction grow quickly.

About new troop profiles for ALEPH.
During 2008-2009, before the Human Sphere book was published, CB updated their site with new miniatures and their completely new troop profile relugarly. Some months had all brand new troops. Really awesome stuff.
I expect that to happen during this year or next year, to begin another period of really NEW stuff, from the next expansion.
And ALEPH need more new stuff than all the other faction because is the youngest and it need sectorials. It is obvious that the Myrmidons will become a sectorial army and will be able to make fireteams.

It would be what makes me finally get Achilles. Then I just have to decide if I want to feild him as Mutli Rifle or Spitfire, only downside is he can't crit a Short or Medium range.

If you mean because in a fireteam he'd be 15 +3 for fireteam bonus +3 for range, then he'd actually crit on both a 19 AND a 20

Any skill points above 20 decrease the number you crit on by one.

I can't see them making him part of a Myrmidon fire-team. He's just too powerful. Who knows though? I have faith in Corvus Belli to keep things balanced.

If they did a myrmidon link team they would do 4 myrmidons and a myrmidon officer. Achilles as part of a 5 man link team would be horrifically overpowered. On the multirifle vs spitfire, spitfire all the way. What's worse then a fast as hell mini-TAG? 4 shots from him :(
