I think there are some very good parts to these, and two things i would go back over.

The mud and weathering look great IMO, as does 90% of the painting in general.

The tanks Blue looks a bit splotchy, but that could have been intentional. I'm not complaining about that however as i like it that way.

The tank commanders eyes. He looks like he just received a crew stunned result. Make sure the pupil goes all the way to the top of his eyelid to avoid the surprised look.

And drill out those gun barrels!

All in all those are some really good looking mini's that you should be proud of though.

P.s. just noticed the OSL glow effect on the eyes. Well done.

It may just be me, but the DA Ravenwing emblem on the front of an Ultramarine Rhino is annoying.

The Aquila (double headed eagle) is the Imperial symbol, and is fine for all imperial armies.

The "winged claw, holding a sword" is specific to the Dark Angels chapter, and even more specifically to the 2nd Company, the Ravenwing. That is why it is out of place on an Ultramarines tank.

When using Badab Black wash, use a wet brush. Make sure there's some water in it or else it will cause some unsightly pooling, which unfortunately you have a bit of. Washes shouldn't be used on large flat areas like on top of a tank; just use it in the recesses and crevices to get some shading. Other than that you've got some good stuff going on here.

Same here. I immediately thought of the Russian in the animated short End of the World who screams, "Ahhhhhh! Motherland!!!" before launching nukes.

thanks for the positive comments everyone!

Right now im on the fence about the eyes.... I think its either a love it or hate it kind of thing. On one hand I tihnk it gives them some character = They look all crazy in the heat of battle... opposed to stoic.
Also with the tank washes what I was trying to go for was a rough and worn tank look....I think I somewhat achieved this but I do agree there is some pooling which set backs this element. thank for the suggestion on diluting the wash

looks great. For the eyes if you want to tone them down a little just paint a teeny bit of badab black wash over them.. it'll make the whites not so bright and maybe that will help?
