Found a quicker way of deleting lots of posts from your subscribed threads listing.

Simply hold down the CTL button
Click on Unsubscribe

This opens the threads in new tabs, but they can be quickly closed
Note that the thread will remain on the page until it is refreshed

The advantage of this is that it does not keep jumping back to the top of page 1 everytime you unsubscribe a thread

Just last week I clicked two years worth of subscribed threads manually!

Note that you'll want to check your options so that the "switch to a new tab when I click a link" is disabled.

And if you've got your mouse set up so that the center button automatically opens links, even better!
