This is a mod I found for GTA IV, which imports the GTA san andreas map. Its using the Rage engine to improve the graphics of the original models and bringing them up to modern day graphics. But, if that is possible from an independent mod developer, wouldn't any game be able to be brought up to modern day?
Here is another mod for San andreas. As far as I know, it's just a massive re-skin, and doesn't improve the physics, so CJ still falls flat on his face. Skip to about 2:50 for maximum awesome.
What game's would you want to see?
Personally, Pokemon coliseum (the N64 one) Extreme G (The N64 one) and Dawn of War winter assault. This would make me very happy.

Final Fantasy VII. I would literally cry if they made that happen. I've heard rumour that it's in the works, but afaik nothing official.

This rumour's been bouncing around for yonks now, I think Square said that it was 'in the pipeline' but have never given anything more official than that. I don't know, it might not be a good thing. Might not live up to its predecessor.
I'd like to see Half Life 1 on Half Life 2's engine.

I think Nintendo's releasing a re-skinned OOT for the newfangled 3D DSiirc.

They are/have. That's one of the few things I dislike about Ninetendo; they can make excellent games, but those gems are then milked for years until they can come up with something else. There's only so many times you can stick "Mario" or "Legend of Zelda" on a game before people get bored of it.

They did and they're making a Mario Kart for the 3DS as well.
YES. Holy crap, that game was my entire childhood. That, and Starfox 64...

Word on the street is that San Andreas is going to be the setting for GTA V, but Rockstar have neither confirmed or denied this. But the rockstar forums are flooded with people saying San Andreas, than Vice City

Since when did CC, Paramount etc. create games?
