Metal is your strongpoint. You also can paint leather well, as the first model shows. Another good thing you can do is power weapons. The fade effect looks real nice. While this is all good, it seems there is something not quiet ''there'' with the first model's face.. I think it is the beard.

Whatever it may be, the gold is the colour I have been trying to accomplish for the longest time!

Maybe I should do a light grey wash over the beard, perhaps eyebrows? I'm thinking a wash would subdue it a bit, bring it back down tone wise.

I think the grey wash will do it, though on the other hand Bob Ross once said ''never use pure white'', so perhaps a toned down white will help make it look more realistic?

Also, you tank finally loaded up. That is some nice weathering done there.
