Hello everyone, thanks for looking

Here is a wyche I painted for my Dark Eldar army currently in progress (you can follow the progress by clicking the link in my sig). This is my first painted model in about five years and I'm really happy to finally be able to post something in this sub-forum. The picture was taken with my cell phone and the lighting is quite frankly aweful. The paintjob is not represented very accurately here, but alas it can't really be helped in my currect circumstances. Check out the combat drug vial, that was fun to paint!

Comments welcome!

It looks great.
Especially the armour and the glossy mask.

The skin lacks of depth as far as I can tell from what I see in the picture.

Looks great but i agree with Enzephalon, the skin could use a wash to add some definition, and the blue on the same side could maybe use some highlights....however, I don't want you to think you've not done a grand job because you have...I particularly like the shiny black helm dome and the harsh highlighting on the turquoise armour is good too

Hey guys..

Thanks for the comments

The skin was a wierd one, it is not as flat as it seems here, of which 90% of the stomach is glare and 50% of the arm. It is bad lighting. I used a very thin wash of vallejo sepia on the skin (1:1 mix of vallejo pale flesh and ivory). Surprisingly she still looks caucasian.

The body suit may stay flat simply because I want to keep a lot of contrast between the extreme highlights of the armor plates and the flat material of he body suit.
