What is the best rule system for world war 1? I have a large army of early war French and right now I play them as imperial guardsmen in 40k. Also, where do you guys find people to play ww1 games?

ww1 French (Imperial Guard) 1500pts
Crimson Fists 2,000 pts
Orks 1,000 pts

Your best bet would be to find a local club that plays Historical games and find out what sort of rules they play with and what periods scales. There usully willing for a chit chat if nothing else.

As for rules, the popular ones are:
Too Fat Lardies, Through mud and blood (very highly rated)

Warhammer Historical: The Great War (uses a simular system to 40k just desined for WW1)

There are a couple of others but from what Ive seen there not as popular as these 2.

Hope it helps!
