Hello all,
I just joined up yesterday and figure I'd drop in an introduce myself a bit.

I live in the Cape Fear area of North Carolina. I've been doing some sort of modeling all of my life, although most of my models never turned out so well until about the last year or so. I've done static cars, planes, helos, and tanks, as well as RC surface and air modeling. On top of that, I'm also a model railroader with a fully sceniced 4x8 HO scale layout (done in the last year). I was introduced to 40k about a month ago by a co-worker. We were talking one day and I was showing him pictures of my train layout. He then showed me some pictures of his DE and IG models. That got me interested. I continued to ask questions about it, he continued to share his knowledge, and helped me decide on my starter army. I've been hooked since.

I'm working on my 2k pt. Raven Guard army. I'm trying to make it fluffy, but still be somewhat well rounded.

Thanks. I'll make sure I do. I've only got a biker for the WE so far. I know it's not fluffy, but I got it just to try my hand at painting up a Chaos army. I'll hopefully have more Chaos soon.

BTW, I also have 815pts of Ultramarines. I only use those as a loaner army for friends and family interested in playing (I've already got 2 hooked, one is going w/ Night Lords, the other is looking at Necrons) against me. Once I get my WE together, I may re-do the UM in RG.
