Hey everyone I wanted to start the Ariadna for Infinity and wanted to get the starter set, what would be something else to go along with the starter set, also if someone could tell me what like mini faction the starter set is that would be awsome, ty again guys and im looking forward to starting a great looking game.

First, a Starter Box only comes with one faction, unlike a GW starter box. In this case you'd just buy an Ariadna starter.

Have you visited the official site yet? If you check the following link: http://www.infinitythegame.com/infinity/en/2011/portada/infinity-getting-started/ It shows you the contents of the faction starters and has their suggestions for expanding. You could also play around with their online army builder and work up an army list you'd like to build (and estimate its monetary cost)!

Since I am currently reading up on Infinity and have not played I can't really give you any more real advice. If I do get into Infinity, I'll probably go with Ariadna myself, I really like the 1st Highlander S.A.S. figures!

Just as a starting point, the Ariadna army deal consisted of:

Ariadna Starter Box



Equipe Mirage-5



Tankhunter with Autocannon



Zouave Sniper



If I were you I wouldn't just stick to the Kazak faction. Ariadna has some great models and themes but they really work best when taken as a whole. They have some of the best scouts/skirmishers in the game and some good heavy support choices.
If you decide on an individual aspect e.g.: Kazak (Russian) or Merovingian (French), you're really limiting yourself. For example the Ariadna 112 is a great unit but is French in theme, likewise the Paratroopers.

What about taking other units and painting them up in a single unifying colour scheme like the Kazak colours?

If you're working off a budget and just getting started I'd recommend picking up the following:

Ariadna Starter Box
Tankhunter with Autocannon (This guy is as good, if not better, than the big T.A.G.s / Robots that other factions have & is a must)
Tankhunter blister: these
2nd Veteran Kazak: these
Zouave Sniper or Zouave Heavy Machine Gun
Paratroopers
Chasseurs
SAS

Doctors and Engineers are also useful.
