Hey Dakka, there's a chance I'll be relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in the next year or so, and was wondering if there's much of a 40k community there. I saw that one store hosted 40k 'Ard Boyz preliminaries (Universal Bitz and Games), but couldn't find any information on the store address or website. I also saw that Hobbytown USA hosted WHFB prelims, but am not sure if there's much of a 40k following there.

I know there are probably some tourneys in neighboring states (Iowa, Minnesota and North Dakota), but would really like to find a place to play locally. Any info or insights are appreciated.

Universal Bits and Games is located inside Dark Matter Anime. They have a wall of retail space and tables in the back. They are currently working on getting thier own store.

We had 12 for ard boys. 6 of them I think came up from Sioux City.

Also MageCon is laborday weekend if you are in SF. Not to bad a trip. 40k tournament on the saturday, and fantasy on sunday. Other events friday too.

MAGE is a regional general gaming comunity, from LARPers to board games to 40k and Flames of War.

Out here in the heartland we have to drive for regular events. Otherwise they get scarce. I'm always willing to car pool if I'm going to something, like Minneapolis or meet in Sioux City for and Omaha trip.
