Would it be alright if a sticky was created with general guidelines for making 8th edition lists? This would save a lot of time for everyone, since the most common mistakes could be easily avoided.

They'd have to agree on who should author such a stickie.

I doubt they'll do it as they would need to have a stickie for every army style out there. It's easier to just ask for advice on a list provided.

I mean general advice that applies to every army. Anyone could do it, we just need to get it stickied.

Its a LOT easier than copy/pasting the same advice in more than half of the new threads everyday.

Your best bet would be to write such an article and then if it meets with general approval then we would consider making it a sticky.
