Well since Nintendos Email people are slow, I just found out the 3DS is now $169.99 down from $249.99. Pretty big drop in price there, might actually pick it up being that low, but then again, I promised myself I would save the the Wii:U instead. Just thought Id share this news with you non Nintendo Heathens

Nintendo is also offering free games to all who bought a 3DS at the previous price so I hear.

But yeah, your email took its sweet time. This was last week I think

KC, the DS sale at Toys R Us has been going on for awhile and was in a sales ad IIRC. Yep, and PS3 dropped $50 too.

New red 3DS comes out on the 9th of september.

The 3DS was something I was interested in for like 10 minutes then I realized it had no decent games at launch, it caused headaches (as a migraine sufferer this wasn't so great) and it cost too much. Plus wasn't the battery life like 3 hours or something stupid?

The question isn't why do I kill. The question is, why I don't kill everybody.

Yea the battery life is probably terrible, but that I expect from anything that has a battery life. Both the DSi's that are in my house say they have like 6-8 hours, and I turned the brightness down and the volume, and still only got like 3-4 hours anyways, just just live with it plugged in I guess. I too wanted a 3DS pretty badly, but uh....Ill wait I guess. The launch titles are meh, and the games in the "COMING TO THE 3DS" videos, the ones that made me go "Oh badass I want that one" arnt even out

I have a 3ds and I like it. I agree the original price was too high, the new price is much better I think. Initial games were a cause for concern but lots of good stuff on the horizon mixed with the store for older games is nice.

I generally get about 4-6 hours play time from my 3DS, which is more than enough as an adult. I don't tend to play video games outside my house for 8 hours.
