i've been looking at this for a while now, as I want a fighting board game to play at home when I don't go to GW. I was just wondering if anyone else had purchased Earth Reborn and could give me some advice on whether to buy it or not?

welcome to the wonderful world of board games! now, first off have you looked at your options? I mean their are LOTS of good fighting board games out there that arent GW. that said, Earth reborn is hard to beat. great components, and a really good skirmishing system. for 80 bucks (more like 60 if you take a few short moments of web surfing to shop) you get something that very replayeble, without either the high start up cost, or the horrendous cost in money and time that is GW and TT games like them

Cheers for the advice, I'm looking for a boardgame like this but I have also been looking at munchkin quest. Any other fighting based boardgames you'd recomend?

have you looked over Fantasy Flight games? (the 800 pound gorrilla of board games?) they make some darn good ones. (sorry for not giveing more specific recomendations, but you say "fighting games" which is far too broad for me to really see what your tastes are)

Earth Reborn is awesome. Nomined for 2011 International Game Award. Best of all? Tons and tons of scenarios.
Another one to check out is Claustrophobia.
