just wondering if anyone else here as heard of , or plays heroscape.

I played it for a while. has a goodly lot of almost a hundred figures. good simple game. I can explain and play to 14 year olds on suger high, so its a good alternitive when wargame oppenents who are willing to take time to lean a long, complicated game a scarce

I still play it the odd time, but mostly because it's eaily three times faster to play than warhamer.

My brothers and a few of my friends play relatively frequently. my brothers and their roommates have a huge amount of sets and we play games that take up just as much room as any WH table would.

The game is simple enough that I've taught it to people who don't play wargames at all and complex enough for you to develop decent strategies.

I'd recommend giving it a spin, but even though it's discontinued some stuff may be difficult to get and expensive since it has (or maybe it's "had" now) a rather rabid fanbase who are willing to pay good money for anything that shows up on eBay.
