Cheers to all comments.

Would like to know what the Crucible 7 game is like. There's a RPG that was in a paperback book and later online called Timelord, which I think was okay, and before that the FASA game which was a lot of work.

For Doctor Who figures there are the official lines of Citadel and Harlequin. Not-Dr-who figures for the current series are done by Crooked Dice and Heresy and you can get Police Boxes from Hasslefree and Ainsty castings.

Story ideas?? Just hit Netflix and start streaming Dr. Who episodes from the last 50 years or so...You have a wellspring of ideas there and if your players aren't big whovians all the better. Untapped and ready to go adventure concepts. Also you can look on ebay for the old FASA Dr. Who adventure modules as well. You can then port those ideas over to your game for use. As I recall there were a few that were rather interesting: One set in Fuedal Japan; another in the far future on a space ship; still another set in victorian London; another in the Roman Empire and so on.

There used to be some metal figs on the market for Dr. Who, but I don't know if they are still out there or not or who makes them anymore. Apologies!

The newer rules are definitely much less confusing than the original FASA Doctor Who boxed set which had to be one of the cludgiest and non-intuitive systems I have ever played with only character creation for Aftermath being more frustrating...

Black tree design do a massive range of Dr. Who in 28mm for the first 8 doctors.

As for story ideas, have the Nazis won WW2 in Dr. Who yet? I'm picturing the allies confronting SS cyber men on the beaches.
