Any kiwi gamers currently playing MERCS? I've had a look at the models and love them, but not sure to invest yet. Anyone in NZ even play it?

As both a fan of MERCS and NZ, hopefully I don't come off as being a prick or that I'm trying to discourage you from posting on DakkaDakka but you are looking for a cross section of 2 fairly small groups of humanity: MERC players that also live in NZ. You might have more success on the MERCS home forum. Granted, the drawback there is that it is the company's forum and much kool-aid has been drunk, and I certainly appreciate DakkaDakka providing a nice, 3rd party, impartial atmosphere to discuss mini gaming, but if you're only looking for actual opponents I think the company forum might be your best bet.

Now, if you want to discuss MERCS there are people here who'd be happy to. There's even an existing thread:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/378935.page
Where there's a discussion of how well it is(n't) picking up and some perceived flaws/traits of the system.

Or we can start a new discussion. Your call!
