Well as the title says Earth Reborn has been shortlisted for the 2011 International Gamers Awards, which is a prestigious honour if it wins. In truth getting nominated is an accolade in itself.

For those who are unaware of the game. It is set in a post apocalyptic world where good vs evil etc and I have popped a link below so you can investigate yourselves. It has an involved combat system with a fully interactive environment and a strong role playing flavour.

This game seems to have flown under a lot of peoples radar even though it is ranked 50th on BGG a 3rd on thematic rank. In truth I really don't understand why it hasn't sold better as it is a superb game but check out what other people say on BGG. I really hope an expansion is in the pipe for it as it truly deserves one.

The miniatures are excellent (I know I have them) and you can view them in the boardgamegeek gallery under the Earth Reborn title. Look for the little square pictures half way down under images. When you click on them they will get larger.

Actually, this game was developped by a Space Hulk fan as an advanced version of said game. So people should have a look at this game!

Sure was but it's a totally different game.

Each character has a full set of stats that allow them to fully interact with their environment and enemies to the point they can even interrogate/torture an enemy and objectives are much more fulfilling.

Equipment and skills are also much more diverse as well as the game mechanic of movement, interaction and combat.

Looks like a good game, maybe pick up a copy someday.
