I just want a friendly game, probably at the local GW, 40k would be prefered because its all I have,

I live about 2 hours train away from Carlisle so I know the place quite well There is a GW. I went there and played for a weekend they seemed nice enough No cheaters all played fair and shared tactics,painting advice ideas etc.

what army do you use? I am a cron player myself, but I've got plenty of apocolypse orks as well, so depends on what you use to decide what i'll use.
