I registered a few days ago, but they seem to be very slow when it comes to approving new accounts.

I was hoping somebody here who is registered on both boards could persuade a mod or admin over there to approve some of the new members.

Um, did you read the sticky titled "When signing up..."?

EDIT: Not trying to be snarky or anything mind you, but I'd never even heard of the site before and it took me 2 seconds to find this.

I didn't see that, but by happenstance I nonetheless fulfilled all of their criteria. Same username as on here, with no crazy letter or number combinations.

Also, IIRC their anti-bot confirmation question was "Complete the name of this miniature wargaming system: Hell_ _ _ _ _ _" which I can't imagine many fake accounts getting past.

I guess I have to register on BoLS now, to prod that mod.

Quick, everyone, gather around. It's him... the chosen one... the one who reads Stickies!

All bow down before Blue Loki, the reader of stickies!

Apparently reading stickies is overrated, since I followed the guidance of that post, registered at BoLS, messaged the moderator, and it's been days without any response or confirmation of my account.

Still hoping to find someone who is a member both here and at dragonpainting who is willing to contact a mod or admin directly.

Anybody out there?

Haha, that's not gonna work.

My reasons for registering there have nothing to do with either dragons or painting -- rather, I'm considering getting into Rackham Confrontation, and they have what appears to be the most active Confrontation messageboard surviving on the internet.
