Committed Chaos Cult Marine

Basically this story is based upon my own custom Chaos Space Marine chapter, The Scorpions.(I know I could make up a better name if i took the time)
The story revolves around the Leader of this army, who I actually have a name for but you wont find out until the middle of the story , and how he became the leader.
Hope you and enjoy. Please bear in mind that my English will be poor(even though English is my only language) and that I normally don't write for fun, so it may not be that good or exciting.

So here we go:

As dark ash was being swept through the air, molten lava slowly descended the hill as to which it was once contained in. This world had just seen the end of a battle, the remains of the various villages were now nothing but ruins completely void of life. The locals lay strewn within the streets, impaled on fences or had every limb on their body removed, only the heads of the locals had been taken off world, and left to rot. This was the work of none other than the Chaos Space Marines. Only one chapter of the Chaos Space Marines would be so callous for others and steal their heads, The Skulltakers. In amongst the rubble of this ruined city lay a lone Space Marine Captain on the verge of death. His armour was ridden with mud, dirt and dust that you couldn't even tell what chapter he had come from. Injuries from the battle with the Chaos Space Marines were severe and he knew that if he did not escape soon, he would die.

“Okay men!” bellowed the voice of a Daemon Prince, “We need to find the artifact hidden within this village and spare nobody! Is that clear?” A massive cheer from the crowd showed that they were ready to follow orders. The Daemon Prince spread his wings and took off into the dark dusty sky. He flew over the village to find that it was already under attack. He gave the order to attack. When signalled the Chaos Space Marines charged down the hillside into the village and their foes. The battle was very one sided as it appeared their only opposition was a group of twenty-four Tau Empire Firewarriors against sixty Marines.
“The Tau were likely just scouting out for something to aid them to the Greater Good” deducted the Daemon Prince without saying it out loud. The Marines started their deconstruction work. Building after building fell to the ground with shattering force. Nobody considered their own safety, if they happened to be cause in the landing zone of a building then so be it. As the Daemon Prince landed he beaconed his men to start searching more thoroughly, making sure they did not miss the artifact. On the mountains overlooking the village lay a squad of Imperial Snipers. They had spotted the commotion and relayed orders back to HQ.
“Open fire! Bring down the Prince!” was the command they received. The group, only being five men strong, all started to release waves upon waves of bullets upon their new foes. While not every shot aimed at the Prince hit the Prince it had helped as stray bullets did in fact take out some of the lesser men. The Prince immediately realised what was happening and took to the skies. The snipers halted fire. They had a plan in mind to take the Prince down, but it was risky. One of the squad had to lure the Prince away from the other four but also close enough for the others to get good shots. It was pretty much guaranteed death. As one of the members crawled off to meet his fate the others kept a sharp eye on the direction of the Prince. The Prince had spotted the lone sniper who was now shooting at him, but missing a fair bit. The Prince decided to get rid of the annoyance quickly. As he swooped down towards the lone sniper he spotted something drop to the surface not far from the village. He couldn't tell if it was a friend or foe. He flew back to the ground to warn the Marines of the situation.
“Let us go deal with them.” Spoke the champion of the squad of Khorne Berzerkers who had decided to tag along to appease the Blood God.
“Alright, be quick though. We need you to help clear the next village.” Only a single object had fallen from the sky so only a small squad was needed to investigate. The squad of ten Berzerkers wandered off into the distance.

Hours had passed since the Berzerkers had went to investigate, but the Prince could not leave the village. The whirring buzz of a chainsword caused the Prince to turn around. He realised that the Berzerkers had been slain in battle. Charging towards him was squads of Space Marines on bikes. Each bike rider had their weapon ready to fight. There must have been a good thirty or so bikes.
“ATTACK!” bellowed the Captain of the oncoming biker force. The Chaos Marines heard the war cry and immediately stopped what they were doing to charge into the on-comers. The Space Marine Captain headed straight for the Prince while the others took on the rank and file troops. The Prince accepted the challenge and flew into the air and charged towards the Captain. The two combatants flew head long into each other. Their weapons clashed against each other. Each blow was being blocked by the other. The Prince eventually managed to get the upper hand when he grabbed the Captain from his bike and lifted him into the air. However even while being carried into the air the Captain still had a firm smile, hidden by his helmet. The snipers which had remained inactive shot at the Prince, the bullets bouncing off of him. One lucky bullet had managed to hit the Prince's hand which was gripping the Captain. The Prince recoiled as he loosened his grip slightly. This gave the Captain enough time to swing his chainsword into the face of the Prince. This was it, the Prince was finished. As the Prince started to plummet back to the ground below the Captain had held on tight to the falling corpse as it was his only way to survive. Both of them plummeted into the ruins of the village below. The Captain was now in the middle of the fire fight between the Chaos and his own force. It was inevitable that he would take fire from both sides. With the clanging of bullets ricocheting off of his armour he charged headlong into the Chaos Marine “camp”. The majority of the Space Marines had perished. Corpses and bike parts were scattered around the battlefield. As the Captain hacked and slashed his way through his enemies he soon realised that his side had fallen, the Chaos had a massive advantage given the state of the ruins. They had superior cover and fire-power, the fire-power had now been wiped out due to some superb shooting. Only the Captain remained against what appeared to be five Chaos Marines.
“Easy...” he thought with a smile, he took off his helmet to show how confident he was. He knew he would take a few wounds, but how severe were they going to be? He charged into the remaining Chaos Marines. The first fell without much challenge, a simple attack to the neck which was blocked caught the Chaos Marine off guard as the chainsword was thrust into his groin and slowly pulled up his body. The other four were firing as the Captain charged towards them. Even though the bullets were passing through the armour the Captain seemed to not feel the pain. As the Captain jumped into the air he quickly spun to attack an assailant who had hoped to kill him from behind.
“Two outta 5.” he thought “Need to finish the others quickly.” Two of the Chaos Marines had started to run off into the distance. “Oh no you don't!” screamed the Captain as he took chase. He took his trusted bolter, who had served him for several decades, and fired onto the cowards. Both fell quickly and painfully. “Damn this bitch just loves to kill doesn't she.” He smirked while replacing her back into her holster. Before he could even get his breath the pain from previous wounds had set in. He fell to the ground in agony. The last Chaos Marine saw his chance to attack and took it. A few more bullets bored their way into the torso of the Captain. As the Chaos Marine drew closer he drew his blade. Something was off however. Normally The Skulltakers kill a victim before stealing their head, this one wanted the final blow to be a beheading. Struggling to grip his chainsword the Captain done all he could to get closer to the Chaos Marine. As the Chaos Marine towered over the Captain he swung his chainsword towards the Chaos Marine's legs to bring him to the ground. The speed of the attack was too quick for the Marine to dodge or block. As both his legs became detached from his body he fell to the ground, blood splattering everywhere.
“If I go to Hell, your coming with me!” whispered the Captain as he tried to regain his breath. He slowly crawled over to one of the destroyed buildings to take cover from the ash and dust. He lay still and in pain. Eventually darkness had set in. “This is the end”, he thought.

Woohoo! Nice wall of text, least its easier to read than some of the stories iv read elsewhere on the internet.

I liked it, but the last paragraph had some bits that kinda, seemed weird. Why would the Chaos marines just start to retreat? and if the captain was hit with (I'm guessing) around 3 bolter shots, that pierced his armor, how was he still possible standing? also “Damn this bitch just loves to kill doesn't she.”
and “Oh no you don't!” don't seem to be very "space marine" things to say.

Just my 2 cents though. It's a nice piece of fluff though.

I will admit that it does seem a bit odd but I do have some reason behind it. As to the Chaos retreating, think of it this way, you have just seen your leader killed by the Space Marine Captain single handedly then killed some of your own squad, panic would tend to set in I think. As to the Captain still standing after 3 shots, its purely to make him look bad ass.

As for the speech, well ill explain that later in the story

So heres part 2, yes I know the speech doesnt get much better. Then again iv never been good at doin stuff like this . Enjoy!

“Captain! Captain! We found him. Get a medic over here quick!” Shouted the voice of an Ultramarine that he had never met, “Don't move we will get you out of here.” The end of the voice got quieter and quieter as darkness set in.
“Captain! He's coming to.” sounded a muffled voice. “Don't move, you injuries haven't healed”. The wounded Space Marine Captain on the bed suddenly sat up to the astonishment of the other Marines. “H-How can you sit up so easily? You should technically be dead!”
“I do not know dear brother, I know myself that I should be dead, yet I still live to serve in the Emperors name”. He declared, “Where is my armour? I need to see if it is still useable.”
“Sadly it is not sir, the damage was too great for it to be of any use. I'm sorry. I have heard rumours that your getting an upgrade though.”
“Then so be it. The second I get that armour I'm heading back to that planet. The Chaos are obviously after something if there was that many. I plan to find out what.”
“How can you? None of your squad survived.”
“I'll figure something out.” replied the Captain as he stood up and walked to the door and shut it behind him.
“Captain.” said the Marine into the intercom, “Something isn't right about the Captain we picked up, he shouldn't be able to walk yet he is on his way to you.”

“So you are Captain....?” remarked a shadowy figure.
“I do not know, I can only presume that building that fell on me caused some memory loss. Odd how the majority of stuff I remember but not specific details.” replied a confused Captain, “ I remember places by the buildings and the land but not by name. So I need you to tell me what planet I was on and how to get there.”
“Very well, Iv already been told you want to return and I won't stop you. Before you go however here's a little gift.” A section in the wall slid open to reveal a set of Terminator armour.
“Thank you brother. I shall wear it with honour.”
“Don't thank me yet, thank me after you find what your looking for. I'll even give you some support. After all, the Chaos want something down there.”

“Preparing for drop in 3....2....1” announced the computer. Drop-pods quickly hit the ground and out emerged the Captain followed by thirty-five other Marines.
“The village should be up ahead, keep your eyes open for heretics.”
As the Marines scoured the remain of the town they knew something was not right. They could feel a dark energy coming from underground. Eventually somebody found a trapdoor that led underground. They followed the tunnels for hours, expecting ambushes at every corner. None came however.
“Something isn't right Sir. We should have fought at least a few of them.”
“Stay sharp, they could surprise us at any minute.” he proclaimed as they emerged into a massive underground building which resembled a stadium. In the centre only a few floors down lay a rather peculiar item.
“Cover me,” ordered the Captain, “We cannot allow anything to go wrong here.” As he approached the weapon in question he could feel the energies within it. “This must have been what they were after.” Suddenly all exits were sealed by falling debris.
“Seems they were waiting for us after all.” A burst of energy erupted from the weapon ,which had been lying on the ground, that was now floating in the air. Every Marine including the Captain dropped to the floor in agony. They knew exactly what was happening. They were being turned into Chaos Space Marines. The Captain had always had doubts about the Emperor but had never voiced them. Now was his chance to be accepted as a Chaos Space Marine so he began the pledge that he had prepared.
“ I submit thyself in the name of the Chaos Gods. May they do what they want with me. Be it praise or punishment. I am no longer a tool of the false Emperor. I live to obey the Chaos Gods in any shape or form.” As the final words were said the weapon that had once resided in the air now flew towards him and attached firmly into his hand. Slowly the power of the weapon became apparent, it was in fact a Daemonweapon that allowed the lost memories of the Captain to return. “ I am Chaos Lord Jagamatu(Estonian for Undivided), those in this room who will not submit to the power of Chaos will be matched with a swift death. I shall unite all the Chaos Gods under one banner.” Jagamatu now went round every individual Marine within the stadium and told them to submit to the powers of Chaos using the same pledge he had used. A few Marines tried to resist and were paired with the swing of the Daemonweapon who quickly devoured their soul.
Only twenty-four Marines had remained. Twenty of them were blessed with becoming standard Chaos Space Marines. Four however were blessed with Terminator armour and the job of protecting Lord Jagamatu no matter what the cost.
“Come on brothers. We must find others to recruit under the banner of The Scorpions!”
