I hate that place. Management is generally rude (except when dealing with the owner), the Warhammer scene is questionable (last I checked they refuse to go over 500 pts), and they generally treat you like you're going to steal something at any moment.

I've had several bad experiences, all my friends had bad experiences, the only saving grace is they sell used warhammer figs, and you can find some old models at a decent price. They also might still have an ancient ork buggy on the shelf. I've seen it every time I've gone, but that was awhile ago, i stopped going.

BIG Edit - Having read back over this after some time, I realized that I was completely wrong about what I was saying. Area 51 is an awesome place. The selection is a tad light, but it's a good place to hang out and has lots of room to game. The location I was referring to is called Generation X comics.

I'm in north Dallas(Carrrolton/Plano area). I work Monday-Friday nights sadly. I have the weekends off though. I was just looking for some informal gaming groups in the area if there were any. I heard some people play at Madness in plano but haven't been able to get a hold of them yet.

There is a GW at Grapevine mills and there is a Hobbytown USA in Colleyville. I'm not sure how far away those places are for you though. Oh and an area 51 in grapevine.

I don't know how far north you are, but there is a new GW in Denton. There are always some games going on in there. Not sure how big a group it is because no matter when I go in there it is almost always the same guys there.

There is a Hobby Town off of Park and the Tollway that has people every weekend.

The GW store at Preston Ridge usually has a few people.

Madness Games and Comics off Spring Valley & Custer has a big group that meets on the weekends. I one of these people.

Madness is great on Sundays (starting around like 1pm?).

Area51: I've never had a bad experience there, i actually find mgmt quite supportive (they made space and scenery for a pick up game when i was starting WH40:K during the midst of their WFB tourney, so i don't think they're unsupportive).

Is there anyone else a little more towards Ft Worth? I'm in Saginaw, and while I don't really mind driving into Grapevine, a 40min trip each way does get expensive

Let's give this another shot...

There's a regular group at Gunslinger Games on Thursdays. Any of the guys are always willing to help people get up to speed.
