I had no idea where to put this, if a mod feels it goes elsewhere, do let me know , anyways, I've been tinkering with the idea (and many random miniatures I've gotten in the years) and felt I could throw together a fun little game that could go with short stories I write, this universe is quite odd, something like the movie Heavy Metal (a place where sci fi and fantasy weirdly clash) or Star Trek or even Dr. Who, I want to know all the insane things people would like to see in a miniature game (which may or may not have a board and cards, I am still trying to figure out what is going to go in this thing.

Are you planning on making your own miniatures for this or are you just going to make rules and convert other models?

Have you taken a look at the Warengine rulebook?
http://warengine.darktortoise.com/index.php?title=Main_Page

It's free and flexible and will do exactly what you're asking. It's also really easy to learn and can be adapted to any fluff.

If you're serious about writing your own wargame by all means do so, but "help me make a wargame" threads have a pretty poor track record at dakka. I really enjoy Warengine for getting my collections of random minis on the table and perhaps you will too.

I'm more of a fan of the magazine than the movie. Some of the random gak you'd see in the magazine would be totally wicked boss to see (model wise and/or rule wise) on the table top.

I really want to see Dragons with MG gunners on their backs, dogfighting with Steam powered VTOLS crewed by an army of LOTR Ringwraiths. not quite sure why. I just think it looks awesome, and i can't afford to get 6+ dragons, enough WW2 MG gunners for them, 6+ Ork DethCoptas/ Dwarf Gyrocopters and enough ringwraiths!
Woe for the penniless oaf...

Many and varied forces in progress according to waxing & waning whims.

I may never finish an army in my life.

Try suggesting it to Eureka's 100 club, they actually produce minis of stuff like this.

Four scholars at Oxford were making their way down the street, and happened to see a group of ladies of the evening. “What’s this?” said the first. “A jam of tarts?” “Nay,” said the second, “an essay of Trollope’s.” “Rather, a flourish of strumpets,” advanced the third. “No, gentlemen,” concluded the last. “Here we have an anthology of pros.”
