So I'm going to be out in El Segundo for work next week, and was thinking about taking an army with me to try and get in some pick up games. All the stores I seem to find that have in-store gaming close at like 8 o'clock. Is this the standard for the LA area? Where does everyone get games in during the week?

Probably will get more responses in the Find a Game forums. Maybe a nice mod will happen by.

Sounds like you looked up Aero Hobbies and Brookhurst Hobbies already since you mentioned stores closing at 8PM.

There is a great shop in Pasadena called Game Empire that closes at 10 on Mondays and Tuesdays and at 11 Wednesday through Saturday. Pasadena is a hell of a hike from El Segundo, though.

Here is their site just in case you want to give GE a shot. http://gameempirepasadena.com/

Yeah I was in the LA area for work about 2 1/2 years ago and made the trek up to Game Empire a couple of times. I was hoping by now to find someplace closer. Although now it looks like I may be working the evening shift which would leave the days open. The big question then would be trying to find games during the middle of the day during the week.
