Hello,

There generally is no right place. If there were any news on new codices, it would practically be glued to the first page. So no there isn't any news.

It's not so much about this being in the wrong place, it's more that threads like this are essentially pretty pointless.

If there is any rumour or news to do with those books/similar then there will be a thread on it on this very board, I very much doubt that people are sat, poised in a manner akin to a hungry owl about to swoop down on a field mouse, or maybe even a shrew. ..

..owls eat shrews right ? Ahh.. probably, they don't strike me as fussy eaters. I guess if you can do that thing they do when they sort of turn their heads right round like that bit in The Exorcist then you probably don't fret too much about what you eat. Plus they have rather odd digestive habits too IIC. Not that I know a lot about owls anyway. It's not like I've taken classes or read books about them.

Which I have done for Bees. They're weird, can't see red apparently. I guess that's why their quite chilled perhaps. Far more so than wasps, pointless little buggers that they are.

If you or indeed any other user, does need to start a thread like this then firstly you need to put a question mark in the title so people don't get excited and click on the thread thinking they're going to read or see something marvellous, something wonderous. Something that in days to come will have Dakkanauts who are sat in our forthcoming retirement home that we're secretly building -- DCMs get an "early bird" buy in/reservation option -- chuckling to each other -- as their catheters are changed -- about that time.. YEAH ! that time we clicked on that thread and just smile at each other as a feeling of unity, comfort and security sweeps over them like a wave of wonderfully flavoured soufflé.

Bit like when those Scarlett Johanssen pics leaked out the other week.

Secondly the news/rumour board is not the place to put any such thread, as this board is really for the reporting of news and rumours rather than desperate pleas flung into the void of the internet like some malformed Spartan baby off of that cliff. The appropriate "general" board would be the place for them.

If you must.

tl/dr : No there' no real news or rumours and please don't start threads like these on this board.
