Basically you pay what you want for a couple games that are usually pretty decent.

However this time they are saying that you have to pay above a certain amount to get the whole package. For that I'm paying substantially less than normal, I don't like that angle. Seems pretty much not what I liked about the whole humble bundle deal to begin with. Still, everyone should check it out. You can basically get a game for a penny if you so choose.

Edit - Yes this work with and without steam. At the end of the checkout procedure you just pick which method you want. Going with steam generates you a key.

Edit 2 - In retrospect...is this a spam post? I've made similar posts in other forums and it was never claimed as such but now that I think of it there was another thread on this board about some guy wanting you to get into some f2p game that got locked because all he was doing is advertising it...which is sort of what I'm doing...hmmm.

Probably work

I think that most of the games offered are a part of the previous Bundle.

Sadly, I'm going going to pick up on it this time, as I already own a copy of Frozen Synapse.

Yeah, I owned all of them except frozen synapse too. The only one I missed is the one that had amnesia on it, which was sadly the best bundle they ever did. I made a point to never miss one after that.

It's also funny that windows gamers pay less on average than mac gamers, or so the chart said last time I checked.

I find it a greater irony that 'dirty Linux hippies' who think that software should be free usually end up paying out more than either of the two.

Amnesia is pretty awesome, you should pick it up. I've not gotten very far in it, but it's good times. I also had a blast with Pneumbra. First genuinely scary game I've ever played.

But yeah, this one is a little underwhelming. I mean, Notch hasn't even thrown down on it yet.

This one's the first one I bought, mainly due to lack of interest in most of the games they've offered in the past. I'm happy to say that while I'm not quite willing to pay big bucks for the cause, I did pay more than even the Linux average of $8.

Shame there's no way to send extra game keys to friends. I remember one bundle a few back where I would have bought it, but I owned 3 of the 5 games in it already.

Having played frozen synapse...wow that game sort of sucks. The story is needlessly complicated and largely unneeded. They could have just made a game based around having your units move around as they do in the game and it would have been better. Still not a great game, a bit under being a decent game, but still better.

It's not something I play every day, but I enjoy it for 15 minutes of pretty meticulous strategy once in a while. I thought the plot was pretty amusing actually. Seemed like a solidly anti-Google vibe.

The soundtrack is pretty awesome too.

I really liked Trine from their humble frozenbyte selection last time they did it. Had a lot of fun playing through it a couple times.

5 dollars for 7 games? Sure, why not?

Picked it up, but yet to play any.

Oddly enough this might benefit some of you. I got the second humble bundle, and still had the email that took me to where my code was. I went back, and it looks like they added braid, cortex command, and a few other games to that list that require a different code (that you can get off the page). So yeah, if you get humble bundle two, go back and check it out to score some more games.
