Our small group of 40k and WFB players decided to revisit Flames of War in December of 2010, to be Noobs once more at a game! We have since made 45 Video Battle Reports, aka After Action Reports (AAR) but only now have I got around to organizing it on our little blog.

Since they are the first ten, you see tonnes of unpainted stuff, rules flubs, etc, but its nice to see progress, as clicking any of the newer videos on the Youtube channel will show.

Anyways, thought folks might get a kick out of them, so the first 10 are up: http://tabletoptacticians.blogspot.com/p/after-action-reports.html

Great reports, I'm going to try to get to your more recent FoW reports and your Warhams reports later.

The youtube channel in my sig should get you there. We initially started off with Mid War, as when the game FIRST came out many moons ago, I got the Desert Rats army box, Chris got the Strelkovy Battalon box, and so on.. but then I moved away for a few years. Moved back, got the lads to dust off 40k, etc.. After about a year though, we were getting into a rut with 40k, and Brett suggested we try Flames of War, he had a Soviet army and the start of a Fallschirmjager army.. and we go "Wait, I wonder if I still have all that stuff somewhere?" Our good friend Marty was in fact in the process of EBAYing his US army because we hadn't played it in years. After our Mid War tournament, we have now switched gears to late war, however I have a bunch of EW stuff also in boxes, waiting when we dabble in that Era.

And no, ten months later, I havent thrown a single 40k or WFB dice since November. Our initial group of 4 has grown to 12+ players locally, amongst us we own enough terrain to run our own 8 table tournaments, and our tournies are now up on the FoW tourney finder. Next one is in February, 24 man tourney, Ottawa Ontario.
